About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

Is it possible to get a China visa from Taiwan? Or do I have to get the visa from the Chinese consulate in the USA where I am presently living? I taught English in Taiwan the past two years and have a return plane ticket to Taiwan. It would be cheaper for me to travel back to Taiwan on my reutrn ticket and then on to China where I will be teaching English if I can get a visa in Taipei. Thank you. Dennis Puisto

You'd better apply for the Chian visa from the China embassy or consulate near in USA, for it may be hard for you get a China visa in Taiwan.
