About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

dear mr.alexander,thank you very much for your quick reply.we intend to stay only for a day or two in zhuhai.we were told that the there is a long line to get a visa at the port of entry in zhuhai, that is why we would like to apply here in the phils to avoid hassle before we fly out.what are the requirements,how much for a single entry,how long will it take to apply and where particularly do we apply in manila?my friend is a US passport holder.Does he have to pay PHP5,500.00 (as per the table of visa fees)for a single entry visa?thanks again,....... edwin aguirre....

The requirements are:
1. Your passport with blank pages and at least 6 months validity left before expiration.
2. A truly and completely filled application form affixed with one passport-sized photo.
3. Round-trip air ticket
4. Hotel reservation.
The visa fee is 1400 peso/per for a single entry visa, and it usually takes 4 working days to issue a visa.
You can just apply for it from the China embassy in Manila or any China consulate near to you.
You are right, the visa fee is 5500 peso/per for US pasport holders.
