Question

Salaams.I will be in Shanghai 2nd week of August. Most probably be staying in and around Nanjing road. Not sure which is the good modern hotel to stay near the shopping areas. Is the Holiday-inn close to the shopping areas? Also I would like to know if there are any Halaal Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi restaurants and where are they located? Any Mosques nearby?

Here are hotels of Shangha, you can choose the one in West or East Nanjing Road.  I can help with the mosques. There is a mosque in Fuyou Road, near to Henan South South (few blocks south of Nanjing East Road). To find a bigger one, you can get to Xiaotaoyuan, Fuxing East Road.
