Dali's weather fluctuates each season but with an annual mean temperature ranging from 12C to 19 C (54F-66F). As such, Dali is a favorite tourist destination all year round. Due to its higher altitude, Dali is slightly colder than Kunming. Its rainy season begins in June and last till October. The hottest days are in July with average temperature of 22C (72F) while the coldest in January at 8C (46F).
