About:Chinese Embassy in France

I'm from Hong Kong with BN(O) passport & permanent resident ID. Do I must have an employer in France for applying working visa? If I'm looking for a job in France but not yet employed by any company or organization there, am I couldn't apply the working visa? Is there any exemption that the applicant must be employed before application, e.g.: PhD education qualification, how many years of managerial experience, etc.?
