About:Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport

Hi there, me and my family will be goin to Hangzhou and Shanghai on the 19th of September, arrives around 10 night.

Hope to stop in Hangzhou and look around, wish to visit 西湖 the next morning and places that you would recomment that is a must go in Hangzhou. And will probably go to Shanghai. Please show me which transportation we should take to go from one place to another. starts from Hangzhou airport to the city. wondering which hotel is more suitable for us to stay in Hangzhou for the 19th night, or which area is more suitable to stay. probably looking for area with easy found food.

Plan to leave Hangzhou and go to Shanghai in the evening of 20th. where should we go to take bullet train( is it the most budget and fastest way)?how much will it cost.

and then what would you recomment when we reach Shanghai? which hotel is alright to stay and near to the city.

we will be back to Hangzhou and flight back to Malaysia on the 23th afternoon. Need your direction as well on how to get to the Hangzhou airport.

Thanks very much, realy appreciated.

It is suggested that you go to Shanghai in the afternoon of 20th. So, you just have one or two half days in Hangzhou. In this case, you just have time to visi the large West Lake. Of course, you could go to Lingyin Temple or others places when you return to the city again. Well, see a full list here https://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/zhejiang/hangzhou/

Accommodation in Hangzhou, I think you could check in a hotel around Wulin Square where the airport shuttle bus's terminal is. It is also very close to the West Lake and to the snack street.

From Hangzhou to Shanghai, of course to catch a bullet train departing from Hangzhou Railway Station to Shanghai South Railway Station. It takes about 1.5 hours on the way and costs 54RMB per person. Search the train timetable at https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/

When you arrive at Shanghai, it is suggested that your take the subway Line 1 and then get off at the People's Square-one of the popular centers of Shanghai, where you could find some nice hotels along the Bund, the Nanjing Rd or Jing'an Temple.
