About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

I like to apply for a doubly entry visa on a Dutch passport, since I want to travel from China to Mongolia and back into China. How many days in advance can I apply for a visa? How long is it valid, and within how many days do I need to start using it? And, finally, how long will it take to process the application?

I'm planning my stay in KL, that's why I try to find out.
Thank you!

You are advised to apply for the visa one month ahead of your trip. The double entry visa has three months validity usually, you allowed to enter through the border checkpoint before 24:00 on the exact day of expiration.
A normal visa application process takes 4 working days.
