If you have Singapore passport, no visa will be needed if your stay in China won't exceed 15 days.
If not, you have to apply a L tourist visa to China together with your Myanmar friend who need a visa to China even if he/she will visit China for only one day.
You can just apply for the visa from the Chinese embassy or consulate with the following documents:
a One duly completed and signed Visa Application Form with a passport photograph attached;
b Your passport with at least 6-month validity and at least 2 blank visa pages.
c. round-way air tickets and hotel booking.
In case you might use your passport during the visa processing, you can use th erush service which only take one working days, but you have to pay addtional fee for it.
