About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Hi,

I am Guatemalan with a Japanese work visa, and I will be travelling to Hong Kong at the end of the month. I checked the Hong Kong Government website and I found out that Guatemalan citizens can travel there for 30 days without a visa. Is this information correct or do I still need to get a visa from the Chinese Embassy?
Thank you in advance for any help.
