About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

when applying for visa at the chinese embassay at bangkok . Do you have to be there in person or can someone else apply for you??

You have to be the embassy in person, for you may be required for an interview.

Any application by post is not accepted. Meanwhile, you may lose your passport if you post it.

Yes, the travel agencies endorsed in the embassy or the other people authorized by the applicants with a signed power of attorney can apply for visa on behalf.
