About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

I intend to visit China in Aug. for TRAVEL. I am Vietnamese. Now I am a student in Japan. Must I apply visa to enter China?
If I must apply visa for travel in one week, What kind of documents Should I bring to Embassy to apply visa?

Submit the following documents to the Chinese embassy/consulate:
1. Your Japanese visa or residence permit
2. a properly signed application form with a photo attached
3. passport with at least 6 months remaining validity and one blank visa pages left
4. Proof of air tickets and hotel reservation
