About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

i'm a french citizen and would like to apply for a chinese visa in Japan. Is is possible and what is the longest lenght of stay can i obtain (1, 3, 6 months visa???. How long does it take to get it? what are the needed requirements?

Mr.HOUDOT, only foreigners with Long-stay visa (more than one year) can apply for the L visa of China from the Chinese embassy in Japan, so I don't think you can.

However, the policy may change, you can contact Chinese embassy in Japan for exact info.
