About:China Work Visa

Hi,

I am malaysian, I work as a engineer consultant in malaysia with my own firm. If I have a contract job from UK company to work for their subcontractor company(third party) in China for 6 or 12 months (with multiple entry). The UK company doesn't have any based company in China. My question is:

1) Do I need to apply work permit? If so, what type of permit do I need to apply (with multiple entry)?
2) Also, do I have to pay tax in China? As I also have to pay tax in Malaysia.
Thanks in adance for your advise

To work in China, you need to apply for work permit. If you are paid by your subcontractor in China, you have to pay Chinese tax.
