About:China Work Visa

Hi,

I am malaysian, I work as a engineer consultant in malaysia with my own firm. If I have a contract job from UK company to work in China for 6 or 12 months, do I need to apply work permit? If so, what type of permit do I need to apply? Also, do I have to pay tax in China? As I also have to pay tax in Malaysia.
Thanks in adance for your advise.

You have to apply for F Visa or L Visa with multiple entries' privilege valid for 6 months or 12 months.
You have to pay tax, if your company pay salary through Chinese bank for you.
