The Tibet Permit is required to visit Lhasa and surrounding cities. We will apply for the Tibet Permit for you once you confirm the booking and we will get it 10 days prior to your entry Lhasa. Then we will send it to you after your arrival in Beijing.
We do not suggest clients take train to Lhasa for the following reasons. First, the train journey is very long, 48 hours, and you will feel bored and tired for such a long trip. Second, the train tickets to Lhasa can only be purchased 10 days prior to the departure date, and it is easily be charted by the government officials, thus we can not promise the availability of the tickets. So we friendly suggest you take flight to Lhasa instead. Hope for your kind understanding.
On the train in China, the soft-sleeper carriages are divided into separate compartments and each compartment has two lower and two upper berths. If the number of your group can not occupy one compartment, you need to share the compartment with other strangers.
