I am french and leaving in China with a working visa for business. I would like to travel with 3 other french friends who would come to China with a Tourist visa made in FR. Do all of us need to handle the Tibet Travel Permit? Is the same for us to handle that? Please advise.

Dear Sammy Timthy, please kindly note that the Tibet Travel Permit is required for foreigners to visit Lhasa and surrounding area. Generally speaking, the tourist visa is needed to apply for the Tibet Travel Permit.

If you are working in China, the certification from your present company is also needed to apply for your Tibet Travel Permit.
