About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

i plan to visit hong kong soon
i know that i do not need a passport to enter hong kong
but if i plan to go to shenzen thru hong kong can i apply for a visa at shenzen boarder?

You don't need a visa but you are required to hold a valid passport. Previously, it is possible to get a visa at the entry port of Shenzhen. Well, cureently the visa regulation is a little tight. It is not sure if you can obtain a visa at the entry port.
