RE: LOST VISA AND PASSPORT

I am an Australian Citizen and I recently obtained a Chinese Tourist visa from the embassy in KL Malaysia for travel around China at the start of July. I am currently traveling in the Philippines but 2 days ago I lost my passport containing the Chinese visa. The Australian embassy is arranging a replacement passport for me which I should receive in 2 weeks time. I am then planning on going to Thailand before China. Is there any way I can get the visa transferred from the lost passport to the new passport in time for my flight to China without reapplying.
