About:China Work Visa

If I am a (4)Family member of a laborer who come to China for work and all I got is an invitation from the school, signed and stamped, a one-way ticket to the destination city and an invitation letter from my husband who is employed at that same school, will these be sufficient? Or should I just apply for a tourist visa and have it extended during my stay in China? Do I need to get a return ticket then?

Even though you don't have a labour contract from the school, you can still apply for a Z visa as the accompanying family member of your husband(he has a Z visa). Currently, you are planning to work there. You should also have a Physical Examination Record for Foreigners issued from an authorized public hospital.
