About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

We are going from USA to Taiwan to Hong Kong to China, back to Hong Kong, back to Taiwan, then back to USA. What visas do we need and how do we obtain them? Do we go to three different consulates?

How long are you planning to stay in the three places respectively? You are exempt from visas for Hong Kong and Taiwan provided that your stay is not exceeding 30 days for each place. Well, you need visas for your entry into mainland China.
