About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

I would like to go to China to run the Great Wall of China marathon. I am running short of time, however I only plan to be in China for less that 5 days. Is it possible for a US citizen to apply for a Visa once in Beijing--or do I need to do so prior to arrival in country?

US citizens can not get Chinese visa upon arrival. You need to apply for the visa pior to your arrival in China.
