About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Hello,

My apologies if my question sounds a bit ignorant. I am Filipino holding Philippine passport and it's my first time applying for a Chinese visa. Is it true that the embassy now requires NBI clearance before doing so? Also, is it ok if the information in the application form is handwritten?

Haven't heard that NBI clearance is required. Both handwritten and typed application forms are acceptable.
