About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

I am travelling on an American passport in Japan, but do not have time to apply for Chinese Visa before departing US. I will be in Japan 10-14 May, then plan to go to Beijing 14-19 May. Is it possible to obtain a chinese visa in Japan during that time.

It is possible but your time is still very pressed. Once you arrive in Japan, you have to apply for expedited service as early as possible.
