I will only stay in Shenzhen for five days, do i really need to acquire Visa? Thanks...

Yes, you have to apply for a China Visa in advance if you arrive at Shenzhen by air.
If you come from HK, you could apply for a five-day's China visa when you arrive on the Customs Ports. However, in these five days, you should travel in the Special Economic Zone of Shenzhen.
