Hi, what about if I only have a round trip ticket to Shanghai but I will not stay in a hotel. I will stay in the house of my friend. Will the embassy grant me a tourist visa? In the invitation letter of my friend, it is stated there te address of her place where I will be staying during my four-day stay in Shanghai...

If you don't stay in a hotel, you can provide the address of your friend's residence and other contact details. With the proof, you can obtain a tourist visa.
