Hi Jason,
Thank you for replying my mail. I decided to take train from HK to Beijing. I will be arriving to HK on May 1, then on the next day, I will travel to Beijing. Could I easily get the ticket on that day?What hotel can you recommend which is near the train station? And can I buy ticket on the station?

Hi, May 1-3 are the holiday in China, so it is difficult for everyone to purchase a train ticket especially on the departing day. Another economical way is take bus to Shenzhen from HK and then fly to Beijing from Shenzhen Airport. This is a domestic route, so the fare is much cheaper. Actually, neither train nor bus is recommended during Chinese holidays. Just for your reference.
