About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Hi I am a Instructor in a University here in the Philippines and is being invited to spend a month in china for the summer break. I understand that I have to present requirements such as Passport, visa application form, invitation letter and round trip ticket. The thing is the travel agency refuses to release the ticket unless I have the visa, they gave me the secured reservation instead. and about the invitation letter, how can we do that if the person inviting me is still here in the philippines and we are planning to fly together since I will be staying with her during my stay in china. :-)

1. Would the secured reservation be considered?
2. Can my Student just talk to the people in embassy to assure that she is the one inviting me?

Thank you

Ms.lsaac, I think the secured reservation is Ok for visa application, but your student talk to the people in embassy is not acceptable, you can ask her family members send an invitation letter for you.
