About:Labrang Monastery

Can anybody tell me if it is actually (around 25th of mai) possible to access to the monastery? I'd really like to visit it, but I heard from other travellers that it was closed for political reasons recently. Thanks a lot!

The monastery is going on a large scale renovation since late April. I have no idea if it is opened during that peroid. It may last for a while, I think.
