About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Dear Officer,

I am going to China with my family for holiday on 18 May 2009. We are holding the Malaysian passports and we need to apply for visas to visit China.

However, my family is currently staying in Malaysia. Would it be possible for me to apply for the visas on their behalf? Their passports and photos are already in my possession.

Please kindly advise, thank you.

As you don't apply for the visa in your home country, you need Singaporean residence permit or singaporean visas for your application for Chinese visas. You can apply for the visas on your family's behalf.
