Dear Madame, Sir, I am a holder of the Serbian passport and I live on the very boarder with Geneva. I have planned a trip to Hong Kong and I have all necessary documents for visa, but the Chinese Embassy in Paris cannot guarantee that I will be issued with the visa in time . My flight leaves on May 7th, arriving to Hong Kong on May 8th and due to the nature of the job I am in, I will be traveling to Kenya in the meantime, between now and my trip to Hong Kong. I do not have two passports.  Since the Embassy in Paris is 600 km away from where I live and Bern is only 150km, sometimes, for the UK visa, Embassies in Switzerland would accept my application. I am literally on the boarder with Geneva, just 1 minute walk and I would highly appreciate if you can accept my application in your Embassy in Bern. I have valid French working/resident's permit and I do not visa to enter Switzerland. I was in China already 3 times and once in Hong Kong and my applications were always successful. Mrs.Djerdana, I'm afriad that the chinese embassy in Bern won't accept your application because you don't have valid swiss visa or residence permit.
