About:Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia

I am a Professor at KFUPM, Dhahran and I was invited by Biejing Institute of Technology to visit them for technical and scientific collaboration. I hold Egyptian Passport. What are the papers needed to process my visa? Since the visit is expected to be July, would it possible to get it from Riyad or from Cairo Egypt (my home country)

Mr Professor,
You are supposed to apply for an "F" visa; These materials are required:
1. Your recent photo(2*2 inch) affixed on a properly filled application form
2. Valid passort, which must have at least 6 months validity left before expiration and at least two blank visa pages left
3. An invitation letter/a visa notification form which is issued by an authorized Chinese unit
