About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

i am an irish citizen living in the uae, myself and a few friends want to tralev to china for a week in april. do we need to get a visa, and if so how do we apply?

Yes, you need visas. Where do you want to apply for a China visa? In your home country or in UAE?
