About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Hello,

I am a Canadian citizen living in the USA. I would like to visit China as a tourist in May 2009. Would I apply for a Tourist Visa from a Consulate-General office in Canada, or would I apply in the USA? Also, where can I find a list of documentation that I need to bring with me when applying for the Visa?

Thank you very much.

You can submit your application either in the USA or in Canada, it is better and probably easier to apply for a visa in your home country.Visit this page:

Dear sir,
I am in the exact same position but I do not understand the instructions to obtain the visa. If the consulate does not accept mail-in or courier delivery and I am not going through a travel agency in Canada or the US, how do I get the application to the Embassy in Canada without going to Ottawa? Thank you.
