About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

I'm a French living a Japan and I'll be visiting Beijing for 4 days in May. I understand that I need to apply for visa and I have the following question. Since I will be travelling with my wife, can she go alone to Chinese Embassy for visa application or do I need to be present?

MrDavid, do you mean you want your wife to apply for a visa on your behalf? Yes, she can submit the application on your behalf.
