About:Chinese Embassy in France

I am a Pilipino citizen (Philippine passport holder) and am holding a Carte Sejour in France valid for one year. I have a permanent job in Paris, France and my bureau is the organizer of a connference in May 2009 in Shanghai. Do I need to get a visa? I have a round trip ticket from Paris Shanghai Paris. As a member of an ASEAN country (Philippines) do I need a VISA to go to China? and attend our conference?

Thank you very much.
