About:Hainan Travel

I need to talk to my uncle who lives in Wenjiao town. From a recent letter sent from his daughter, he is every old, sick and dying. We cannot afford to fly over to see him. Could anyone advise me if the internet,MSN, and web cam are a possible mean to at least allow my mother to see & speak to her elder brother from the US. Thank you !

Hi Ms Wena

I have just returned from Hainan trip. Based on my understanding during the trip, most youngsters there chat in Chinese through QQ instead of MSN. Suggest you get your uncle's daughter's children or friend of younger age (most above age 40 are not proficient in PC) to sign up MSN and set up the video call (with web cam)for your mum to have a distant 'face to face' chat with her elder brother.
