About:Shenzhen Travel

Hi, I'm travelling to ShenZhen for a business meeting on March 2, 2009. As there are no direct flights from Germany I will arrive at Hong Kong. Now I have two questions:
1. What is the most comfortable way to get from HK airport to SZ? I checked the forum but some recommend a ferry, others a train or a bus. Everything seems to be possible. What about taxis?
2. I’m looking for a hotel which is easy reach from HK and also a good place to start to Daya Bay Nuclear Plant where my meeting will take place.

Hi Mr.Thilo,
Pls see my answer:
1. The best choice for you: Take the bus from HK Aiport to LuoHu District (Direction:There is Travel Agent located at the arrival A in HK airpot,cost HKD170, six pp in a car,no need to stop at HK immgration quite fexible,take 30mins).
2.I would suggest you book the hotel in LuoHuo District where is easy to HK, you might could stay at Shangari Hotel. It need to take about 1 hr from LuoHu district to Daya Bay Nuclear Plant by car.

I have not been to Shenzhen yet, but I've been told that the best way to get to the city is to take the ferry and so avoid going into HK city. It should be shorter...
