About:Wuhan Travel

Having spent a month one week in Wuhan all I can say is that it was one of the most polluted cities I've ever seen. There was little to do tourist-wise and only the fact that my husband and I were there to adopt our daughter made it even somewhat palatable. Beijing is interesting, Hong Kong has great shopping, Chengdu has pandas, Guangzhou has the hustle and bustle, Xian has the tomb of the First Emperor; Wuhan has . . . well, it has drivers who use their horns a lot.

Hi Mary,
We're trying to do a little research before we go to Wuhan to adopt our second chinese baby. We can appreciate your comment about pollution as we had a similar experience in the city of Hefei, Anhui province. Constant noise from traffic and the associated awefull air quality. The 5 days or so can be long if you don't keep busy. How about hotels and things to do, any recommendations?
