About:China Train

I want to go from Beijing to Shanghai at the end of january, and I would prefer to take the train. How difficult is it really to get a ticket in the peak season? is it really necessary to book something in advance? I would like to keep my options open...

Hello Lila,

I suggest you book your train ticket as early as possible. January 26 is Chinese New Year. Many people will go home by train. If you choose that time to go to Shanghai, you really need book ticket in advance.
