About:Guangdong Travel

Hello!! I am coming from the US and will be visiting China and Guangdong for the first time. I am nervous as I have never been, don't speak the language and am unsure about the weather. Any advice would be so helpful and appreciated! I will be by myself, which makes me nervous as well. Hearing everyone is very friendly and hospitable helps a lot though! Any other advice and weather tips would be great. Thank you so much! And I am very excited!

I see you were in the exact situation like I am goingto be. I guess you have already returned to your home country. Can you tell me how you managed once you arrived in Hong Kong. I am going to Zhong Shan where I have relatives that I have never met. They are probably all in their 70's and 80's. The house where my mother grew up is still in On Ding Village. I hope you can tell me how you got around.

I'm a native of Zhong Shan, the weather in Guangdong is similar to northern Florida, very humid in the summer, and a little chilly in the winter, but it never snows. It rains alot in the summer, and yes there are typhoons. Enjoy your trip.
