About:Chinese Embasy in Ireland

Hi There
My girlfriend and I are going backpacking in February and plan to visit China on the way to Australia. In order to apply for a visa in Ireland we need to submit flight tickets and accomadation reservations which we don't have yet as were not sure on when we will arrive in China. Is it possible to get a visa in Hong Kong to enter the mainland?

Thanks,

Mr.John Brady, yes, you can apply for a China visa in Hong Kong and then enter mainland. You can apply for it in Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affaires of the P.R.China in the Hong Kong SAR.
