About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Hi, I am a chinese citizen born and lived in the Philippines. I hold an Alien Certificate of Registration and I wanted to apply for my chinese passport. I tried to contact chinese embassy but they are not replying to my email. I lived in the visayas and asked my friend to inquire about requirements for chinese passport. Is it true that I need to bring interpreter who speaks mandarin? Can't they speak english or don't they have interpreters within the embassy? Can you please help me regarding requirements that i need to bring as i live far from manila and i don't want to miss out on anything. Thank you.

Mrs.Rafols, I think you needn't bring interpreter who speaks mandarin because Chinese diplomats in India can certainly speak english.
The requirements you need to bring:
1/ a clearly filled "Passport/Travel Permit/Seafarer's Passport Application Form of the P.R.of China".
2/ three Chinese passport standard photos
3/ original and copy of Residence Permit of Philippines (ACR & ICR or I-CARD)
4/ Original Birth Certificate issued by Philippines National Statistics Office (NSO)
5/ original and copy of passports of parents
6/ original and copy of Philippines Residence Permit of parents
7/ Marriage Certificate of parents.

Hi, may I ask if your parents already registered your birth at your home country birth registry department or thru chinese embassy here in Philippines? I have same dillemma as yours. I think the people at chinese embassy here in Philippines can speak chinese. May I ask if How did you apply for ACR/ICR or I-Card?
