About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Itinerary

We are thinking of doing an itinerary like the following: Hong Kong>Chengdu>Beijing>Taiwan. We would connect to all cities by plane. Is this itinerary valid for 240 hr visa? We are spending 9 days total in china before leaving for taiwan.
