About:China Visa Application in USA

240 Hour Visa Free Policy

I have an American passport and flying to Zhengzhou this summer. If my flight into Zhengzhou is from Taiwan and my flight from Zhengzhou is through Seoul, and staying less than 240 hours, am I exempt from needing a Chinese Visa?? Thanks.
