About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

240-hr visa free

Hello, I am planning to fly to from Bali to Beijing with a stop-over in Vietnam. I will then travel south and exit China thru Hongkong by train (china immigration at Hongkong West Kowloon station) and then fly from Hongkong to Vietnam. Am I eligible for 240-hr visa free stay permit? If so, do I use the booking for train ticket to Hongkong as the proof?

Yes, your itinerary is definitely eligible for 240 hour visa free transit and your train ticket, that has to be booked before you depart toward mainland China, is a proof that you will be in a transit through mainland China from Vietnam to Hong Kong. Exiting mainland China by train via West Kowloon station is an acceptable detail within 240 hour visa free transit. Have a nice visit to China.
