About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit in Beijing with 2 Tickets

Hello,
I plan a flight from Germany to HND via PEK. Incoming flight to PEK is with Lufthansa and outbound flight from PEK is with ANA.
Two separate tickets for each flight.
So I need to claim baggage and check-in again.
Is this possible for a connecting time of 2:50h? Do I need more than my passport and the flight tickets to get no problems with customs?

The amount of time is definitely enough to perform all the formalities without a pressure.

Upon landing in Beijing you will do the following:

1. Fill out arrival card and tick the box on it where it is written - transit
2. Perform fingerprinting at automatic fingerprinting machine
3. Approach immigration where you will hand your passport, arrival card and fingerprinting receipt.
4. Collect your luggage
5. Perform new check-in for your flight to Tokyo
6. Cross the security and immigration and head to the gate for your flight to Tokyo
