Mutianyu and Badaling Bus services

Hi, may I know whether the bus services are still running daily in March (especially between 6th to 12th March)?. Do I have to buy the tickets in advance or I can buy on-site? Will the ticket sold out immediately on the day?
Also, from the bus where it stops at the destination to the great wall's ticket service centre or entrance, how long is the distance?

Yes and you can buy on-site if not on public holidays. The bus stop is super close to the entrance, you can walk to it.
