Unfortunately, that is not possible. Shenzhen 5 day visa on arrival is valid only for stay within Shenzhen city limits. Also, if you want to obtain a Shenzhen VOA you cannot use a through high speed train toward Shenzhen because there is no visa office at Hong Kong West Kowloon station and both Hong Kong and mainland Chinese immigration offices are co-located there at the same location. The best border crossing for Shenzhen VOA is Lo Wu / Luohu because you can easily reach it by MTR train from the center of Hong Kong.
The only way to enjoy visa free access is by introducing Macau and by consequently creating an eligible itinerary for 240 hour visa free transit scheme. You can use Hengqin border crossing from Macau to mainland China or you can take a ferry from Macau to Shekou port in Shenzhen and then proceed to Guangzhou. Also, even before you depart from Macau toward mainland China you will have to have your Guangzhou to Hong Kong train ticket already booked because you will be asked to present it.
So, if Guangzhou is your destination, please, remember that 240 hour visa free transit scheme is the only option to travel visa free. Also, it is necessary to understand that your itinerary has to have a structure as: A (country or eligible territory, in your case Macau) - B (mainland China) - C (country or eligible territory, in your case Hong Kong). Only the immediate points, before and after mainland China matter and they have to be in two different countries or eligible territories. I hope this helps.
