About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Please help with my itinerary

Hi, hope someone can verify that we can travel with 240 hours transit free visa for the itinerary below:

1. London --> Zhengzhou,6 hours layover then transfer flight to Chongqing and staying Chongqing for 5 days.
(Do we get the 240 hours visa-free transit in Zhengzhou before proceed the transfer flight to Chongqing?)
2. Chongqing --> Guangzhou, 2 hour layover then transfer flight to Hanoi, stay in Hanoi for 5 days,
3. Hanoi --> Guangzhou, stay for 5 days,
4. Guangzhou --> London

Mike, your entire itinerary is definitely eligible for 240 hour visa free transit - twice. During your first arrival in China all the entry formalities are performed at the first airport, so you will perform all the necessary details in Zhengzhou. You will check with the airline, at the time of your check-in, whether you will have to collect and re-check your luggage in Zhengzhou as well. Probably not, but check it at the time of your check-in. Also, when you depart from China toward Vietnam, your exit formalities will be performed in Guangzhou because this is the last stop in China before a flight abroad.

You second entry is very simple. Everything will be performed in Guangzhou. Now, when you know that you do not need any kind of visa you can start with your travel preparations with absolute peace of mind. Have a wonderful journey.
