About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Domestic flight in china

Hi, I (uk citizen) will be heading to the UK from Japan at Christmas time but will be taking 3 flights as follows,

Japan to xi an
Xi an to shanghai
Shanghai to London

Am I OK to do a domestic flight within China before leaving the country?

Yes, it's OK. You need to apply 24/240h visa-free transit at Xian airport according to the total time you will spend in China. And you need to show your ticket from Shanghai to London.
